We began using data from the Census 2000 Special Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) File to prepare Affirmative Action Plans in January 2004. We have reformatted the Census Bureau data into Excel® workbooks. Each workbook contains four worksheets.
The sheets include:
- Detailed data
- Corresponding detailed percentages
- Summarized data
- Corresponding summarized percentages
Each row of data in the summarized percentage sheet is a named range that corresponds to the census code for ease of use in preparing the external availability in Affirmative Action Plans. Download a sample file that contains data for the total United States for the Total Civilian Labor Force and ten census codes. Actual files contain data for the Total Civilian Labor Force and all of the 472 Occupation Categories.
